She was predeceased by: her parents, John Franklin and Edna Henderson Wildes; her husband Waymon Edsel "Eddie" Herrington; her brother Larry Austin Wildes; her brother-in-law Henry Larry Caraballo; her nephew Timothy Austin "Timmy" Wildes; and her great-nephew Clint Austin Wildes.
She is survived by: her siblings, David Wildes (Christine) of Pearson and Jan Caraballo of Pearson; her nieces and nephews, Mardi Caraballo White (Jeffrey), Ann Wildes Alexander, Jennifer Wildes Spivey (Kyle), Alisa Wildes Clark (Kelly), Megan Wildes Mizell (Marshall), James Larry Wildes, Shawn Franklin Wildes (Paige) and Dustin David Wildes (Sommer); and her caregiver Deana Mullis.
The lying in state was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Mt. Zion Baptist Church (152 Wilson St, Pearson, GA 31642). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
