We are sad to announce that on October 17, 2021, at the age of 86, Dougal Gillis Sr. of Pearson, Georgia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lonnie Gillis and Mary Vickers Gillis. He is survived by: his wife Jean Brantley Gillis; his children, Dougal Jr. (Judy) of Willacoochee, Charlton (Stacy) of Pearson, Donna Dismuke (Keith) of Douglas and Melinda Moyer (Bryan) of Fernandina Beach; his brother Neal (Laurelle) of Pearson; and his brother-in-law Jimmy Brantley (Marcia) of Waresboro. He is also survived by 9 Grandchildren, 15 Great Grandchildren, and 1 Great Great Grandchild.
