He was predeceased by: his parent Loy Brown; his daughter Shannon Von Stewart (Brown); and his sisters, Alice Neal Starnes (Brown) and Jean Wilson Ward (Brown). He is survived by: his wife Janine Landry-Brown; his sons, David Landry Brown, Mark Brown (Jean Brazie) and Christopher Brown (Tia Nash Brown); his son-in-law Mike Stewart; his grandchildren, Courtney Stewart, Cameron Stewart, Dalton Vondra, Kendall Vondra, Olivia Brown, Aria Brown and Douglas Brazie-Brown; and his brother Leighton Pegram Brown (Martha).
