She was predeceased by: her husband James Albert Carter; and her parents, Taft Densmore and Mabel Densmore. She is survived by: her daughters, Teresa Hettermann, Charlene Stevens and Michelle Brooks; and her grandchildren, Nicolle (Phillip), Aimey (Phillip), David (Kim), Stacy, Andi (Austin) and Marcus. She is also survived by great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, March 9th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Mowell Funeral Home and Cremation Service - Peachtree City (200 Robinson Rd, Peachtree City, GA 30269). A funeral service was held on Monday, March 10th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Tuesday, March 11th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Goshen Baptist Church Cemetery (1540 Goshen Church Rd, Dawsonville, GA 30534).
