She was predeceased by: her parents, Mattie Ruth Lambert and Wilbur Jeter; her husband Robert Carpenter; and her siblings, Mary Stallings, Lillian Jeter, Martha "Mot" Price and George Jeter.

She is survived by: her daughter Laura Everett; her brother Wilbur Jeter, Jr.; and her granddaughter Brooklyn Everett. She is also survived by her family and friends.
