He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward J. Fitzpatrick and Zita M. Fitzpatrick (Cawthorne); and his brothers, Arthur E. and Paul D. Fitzpatrick. He is survived by: his wife Joyce S. Fitzpatrick (Cleland); his daughter Melissa J. Stroupe (Justin R.); his grandchildren, Gabrielle F. Stroupe and Justin R. Stroupe Jr.; and his siblings, Edward J. Fitzpatrick and Helen M. Maguire. He is also survived by 14 nieces and nephews.
