We are sad to announce that on July 17, 2023, at the age of 79, Marie Theresa Georganakis of Peachtree City, Georgia, born in Elmsford, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Murphy and Helen Murphy (McTigue); her husband Thomas E. Georganakis; her brothers, Michael G. and John J. Murphy; her son Robert P. Georganakis; and her granddaughter Leah Marie Veal.
She is survived by: her children, Sharon Schilling (Marty) of Peachtree City, GA, Marie Veal (Rick) of Lawrenceville, GA and Thomas Georganakis of Brooklyn, NY; and her grandchildren, Matthew, Erin Schilling and Stuart Veal. She is also survived by many cousins and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Marie's memory to the Endowment Fund at Holy Trinity Catholic Church.
