It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Joann Aretta Ruffner of Peachtree City, Georgia, born in Chattanooga, Tennessee, who passed away on January 11, 2024, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Hysler and Lucille Oakes Hysler; her husband James David Ruffner, Sr.; and her stepdaughter Mickey Kay Ruffner. She is survived by: her daughters, Debra Harris (Tony) of Marietta, Terri Holland of Peachtree City and Lisa Wright (Tim) of Peachtree City; and her stepchildren, James D. Ruffner, Jr. of Marietta, Jamie Priest (Gary) of Marietta, Marsha Wadsworth (Rick) of Powder Springs and Denise Brock (Larry) of Cartersville. She is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
