She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Clyde Wasden and Ruby Jeannette Robinson Wasden. She is survived by: her husband James Herbert Burel; her children, Pam J. LaBrecque (Bryan) of Peachtree City and Brad J. Burel (April) of Cartersville; her grandchildren, Brett T. LaBrecque (Mary), Steven C. LaBrecque (Sarah) and Rachel B. Powell (Chris); and her great grandchildren, Theodore LaBrecque, Claire LaBrecque, Nora LaBrecque, Elijah Powell, Oliver Powell and Lillian Powell. She is also survived by her family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in her memory to Southwest Christian Care Hospice.
