With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Herbert Wayne Waddell of Peachtree City, Georgia, born in Thomaston, Georgia, who passed away on March 2, 2023 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Newton Waddell and Jewel Poteat Waddell; his son William "Billy" Herbert Waddell; his son-in-law Robert Brian Valimont; his brother Michael Waddell; and his grandchildren, Elijah Jackson Valimont and Toni Nicole Voss.
He is survived by: his wife Frances Owens Waddell of Peachtree City, GA; his daughters, Traci Lynn Voss (Rick), Brenda Faye Niemann (Johnny), Wendi Gillespie Olive (Keith) and Gay Gillespie Valimont; his brothers, Kenneth Waddell (Mary) and Ronnie Waddell (Kay); his grandchildren, Jennifer Olive, Dana Griffin (Tyler), Abby Garcia (Remington), Hunter Yarbrough, Anna Niemann, Kristen Voss and Tessa Yarbrough; and his great grandchildren, Avery Griffin, Brayden Griffin, Hunter Hohenstein and Gunner Tevenal.
