He is survived by: his wife Sherry Landers; his daughter Carianne Fallowfield (Jason); his grandsons, Deacon and Layton; and his brother Paul Landers. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that contributions be made to: The Emory Winship Cancer Institute, The Canadian Cancer Society, or a charity of your choice.

“Dear Sherry and Family. My deepest sympathy for your loss. I worked with Doug at Timberjack starting in 1979. We continued to work together under Deere and Waratah flags until he retired. He always treated me fair and was always a Gentleman. May his memory be a blessing. Sincerely. Larry Nancarrow”
