She was predeceased by: her husband Virlyn Bell Smith, Sr.; and her sister Anne Waldrop. She is survived by: her children, Sandra Rozes, Sheila Smith and V. B. Smith, Jr. (Sandy); and her grandchildren, Chris Rozes, Seth Crawford (Delaney), Callie Gregory, Jenny Day (Jared), Andrea Proctor (Brad), Tanner Smith (Jennifer) and Robin Berger (Sean). She is also survived by 12 great grandchildren.
