He was predeceased by: his parents, Aubrey Pruitt and Ella Mae Pruitt; his son Mike Pruitt; and his brother Terry Pruitt. He is survived by: his wife Helen Pruitt; his daughter Pamela Pruitt; his grandchildren, Michelle Garrett, Jamie Pruitt (Tiffany), Mandy Brown (Derek), Danielle Pruitt, Lauren Sheridan (Jesse) and Kayla Pruitt-Zumwalt (Caleb); his brother Jack Pruitt (Joan); his niece Tracey Pressley (Danny); and his nephew Stewart Pruitt (Colleen). He is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Harps Crossing Christian Academy.
