She was predeceased by: her parents, Dr. Robert Ard and Barbara Ard; and her stepfather James "Pops" Roach. She is survived by: her husband Alex; her son Nicholas Plotner (Brittany); her grandson Kai; her stepson John Lambert (Maegen); her stepbrother Dr. James Roach (Elizabeth); and her siblings, Camille Pecorak (T. J.), Abby Cross (Kim), Robert Ard (Holly) and Whitney Roach (Chantale). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and cherished life-long friends.
In lieu of flowers: the family lovingly requests donations be made in Amy's honor, to the Winship Cancer Institute of Emory University. A donation can also be made to any other worthy cause, fitting Amy's memory.
