It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thomas Alan Marchant of Pavo, Georgia, born in Omega, Georgia, who passed away on April 4, 2024, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lee Roy Marchant and Lucille Prichard Marchant; his brother Larry Marchant; and his grandson Drew Marchant. He is survived by: his wife Sandra Day Marchant of Pavo, Georgia; his children, Scott Marchant of Boise, Julie Moore (Eric) of Adel, Shane McMillan (Vance) of Albuquerque, Jill Tomlinson (Jimmy) of Moultrie and Shannon Harrison (John) of Douglas, Georgia; and his grandchildren, Nathan Marchant, Gabrielle Marchant, Owen Marchant, Jessica Wells, Austin Baker, Leslie Lancaster, Colby McMillian, Ashley Wise, Ivey Harrison, Connor Tomlinson, Kate Merritt and Colton Merritt. He is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren.
