He was predeceased by: his parents, V. C. Williams and Ernestine Baker Williams; and his sisters, Alma Jo Williams and Pawnee Victoria Williams. He is survived by: his wife Lela of Pavo; his children, George Alan (Sharon Helton) of Barbourville, Dean Williams of Tucson and Terry Helton of Flat Lick; his nephew Michael Atkinson of Jacksonville; and his grandchildren, Preston Lee Mills of Flat Lick, Misty Ross of North Carolina and Michael Helton of Barbourville.
A graveside service was held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the McLane Riverview Memorial Gardens (3945 N Valdosta Rd, Valdosta, GA 31602).
