He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester Shelby Taylor, Sr. and Mary Madilyn Blackey Taylor; and his siblings, Elizabeth Taylor Welch and Chester Shelby Taylor, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Lynda Waid Taylor of Pavo; his son James Keith Taylor of Pavo; and his siblings, Joyce Taylor Greene of Thomasville and Jack Taylor (Janice Stockbridge).
