She was predeceased by: her parents, Noah Eldon Glass and Barbara Ellen Boyd Glass; her husband Grady Gordon Brown; her children, Alice Brown Jordan, Laverne Brown Brack and Hoyett Brown; and her siblings, Abbie May, Jack Glass, Mahue Glass, Ulmer Glass and Roy Glass.

She is survived by: her children, Virginia Brown Freeman of Thomasville, GA, Dorothy Brown Fowler of Pavo, GA, Louise Brown Hamner of Pavo, GA, Barbara Brown Katz of Thomasville, GA, Arlene Brown Sheffield of Independence, MO, Arelia Brown McDaniel of Pavo, GA and Grady Dennis Brown of White Oak, GA; and her brothers, Paul Glass of Moultrie, GA, Lester Glass of Moultrie, GA and Jimmy Glass of Tennessee. She is also survived by 23 grandchildren, 39 great-grandchildren, 32 great-great-grandchildren.
