It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Thomas Kicklighter of Patterson, Georgia, born in Blackshear, Georgia, who passed away on January 2, 2021, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Alvin and Willie Mae Peacock Kicklighter. He is survived by: his wife Glenda Jo Smiley Kicklighter of Patterson; his children, Tina Kicklighter, Dana (Rodney James) and Tommy; his daughter-in-law Wendy Kicklighter of Blackshear; his siblings, Patsy Manning Coulby (Buddy) of Jesup, Rev. Kenneth Kicklighter (Iris) of Ashburn, Dewey Kicklighter (Mary) of Jacksonville, Donald Kicklighter of Blackshear and A. C. Kicklighter (Mary) of Blackshear; his grandchildren, Bree Kicklighter, Emmett James, Kole Kicklighter, JoHannah James, Kamden Kicklighter and Kingston Kicklighter; and his great grandchild Ryder Manders. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

Interment will be in the Kicklighter family cemetery and will be private. Due to COVID-19, the family has decided to err on the side of caution and not have a visitation. Social distancing guidelines as well as the use of facemasks is required.
