He was loved and cherished by many people including: his son Todd Derick Allen, Sr. (Amy Lynn) of Patterson; his grandchildren, Denis Allen, Todd Derick Allen, Jr. and Rommie Dwayne Allen; his former wife Brenda Hayes; his stepdaughter Tonya Kay Bennett (Andy Lamar); his stepgrandchildren, Chad Bennett (Kristy Thomas) and Hunter Bennett (Megan Bezonia); his stepgreat-grandchildren, Reed Bennett, Maverick Bennett and Cam Thomas; and his sisters, Nelda Faye Taylor, Eloise Deaoyos, Rose Henderson and Delphia Hemphill. He was also cherished by numerous nieces and nephews.
