She is survived by: her husband Chris Carter of Patterson; her children, Casey Carter and Corey Carter of Patterson; and her siblings, Lori Smith of Waycross, Ricky Boatright (Jeanett) of Blackshear, Tommy Boatright (Jody) of Blackshear, Stacy Boatright of Blackshear and Gene Boatright (Kelly) of Waycross. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
