We are sad to announce that on September 4, 2021, at the age of 83, Lewis Lyons of Patterson, Georgia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Mathew Dixon and Janey Elizabeth Warner Lyons; and his wife Johnnie Mae Campbell Lyons. He is survived by: his children, Rex Allen Lyons of Blackshear, Linda Kay Sims (Carroll) of Patterson, Vanessa Jane Cason (Jerry) of Offerman, Carmen Lynn Sweat (Wayne) of Lawrenceville and Regina Faye Mealor (Doug) of Villa Rica; his stepchildren, Joy Hoag of Offerman and Toy Douglas of Blackshear; and his siblings, Teeai Crosby of Waynesville, Juanita Drury of Brunswick, Noah "Bo" Kersey (Olivia) of Brunswick and Rochelle "Rocky" Kersey (Lisa) of Hortense. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
Due to COVID-19, the family will have a Celebration of Life service for Mr. Lyons at a later date.
