He was predeceased by: his parents, James Oliver and Ellie Cauley Taylor; his daughter Cindy Taylor Boyette; and his siblings, Eva Mae Strickland (T.), Annie Belle Thornton (Felton), Vernie Mae Boyett (I. W.), Lavern Minchew, Earnie Taylor (Martha), Hubert Taylor (Virginia), Clifford Taylor (Pat) and Kenneth Taylor (Frances).
He is survived by: his wife Evelyn Manning Taylor of Patterson; his sons, Joey Taylor (Susan) of Patterson and David Taylor (Opal) of Patterson; his son-in-law Robert Boyette of Screven; his grandchildren, Josh Taylor (Abigail) of Patterson, April Boyette (Curtis) of Kingsland, Jeff Taylor of Patterson, Jeremy Taylor (Chrissie) of Blackshear and Emily Graham (Jaren) of Patterson; his great grandchildren, Gunner Moore, Jace Riggins, Gage Moore, Madison Head, Reeve Graham, Miley Taylor, Josh Taylor, Jr., Jaylen Graham, Cohen Moore, Jerric Taylor and Parker Taylor; his sisters, Delois Carter of Waycross and Oletha Bryant (Lamar) of Patterson; and his brother-in-law Dave Minchew of Yulee, FL. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
