It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Tyre of Patterson, Georgia, born in Jesup, Georgia, who passed away on August 15, 2020, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Jackson "Ander" and Nola Mae Thornton Tyre, Sr.; and his sister Audrey Faye Tyre. He is survived by: his wife Linda Laning Tyre of Patterson; his son Jason; his daughter-in-law Heather Tyre of Patterson; his daughter Christina; his son-in-law Kevin Johnson of Crestview, FL; his siblings, Nancy Aspinwall (Andy) of Patterson, Virginia Foster (Bobby Williamson) of Patterson, Jack Tyre (Juanita) of Patterson, Arthur Tyre (Mary Ann) of Patterson and David Tyre (Tina) of Patterson; and his grandchildren, Bowen Tyre, Jase Tyre, Cassie Cobb, Dalton Cobb and Alicia Johnson. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
