He was predeceased by: his parents, James Allen and Emmaline Godwin Harris; and his siblings, Juanita Smiley, Jewellee Thomas, Virgil Harris, Clyde Harris, Raymond Harris and Bufford Harris.
He is survived by: his wife Annetta "Ann" Bandy Harris of Patterson; his children, Allen (Merry) of Blackshear, Doree Harris Murray (Ashley) of Grimes and Edward Harris (Avis) of Patterson; his grandchildren, Benjamin Harris (Robyn), Tom Harris (Stacey), Joshua Murray (Emily), Hannah Dupin (Loic), Sam Murray (Ashley Nicole), Adam Murray (Ashley Anna), Emmalee Murray, Aaron Harris (Rebekah) and Dorcas Harris; his sister Tootsie Cowan (Gene) of Patterson; and his sisters-in-law, Faye Harris of Patterson and Virginia Harris of Patterson. He is also survived by 10 great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews.
