He was predeceased by: his parents, Earnest Carrol and Lilah Alethea Lee Bryant; his stepfather Elmer Thomas; his former wife Sarah Louise "Sis" Smith Bryant; his son Wayne Bryant; his siblings, Hazel King, Waunel English, Tracy Bryant and Gordon Thomas; and his stepdaughter Holly Thornton.
He is survived by: his wife Oletha Taylor Bryant of Patterson; his son Terry; his daughter-in-law Nina Bryant of Alma; his stepchildren, Rick Thornton of Middleburg, FL, Rhonda Kinsey (Ken) of Yulee, Lendol Thornton (Barbara) of Hilliard, FL, Belinda Carter Crowder of Patterson and Katrina Conti (Doel) of Folkston; and his grandchildren, Jennifer Eason (Donald), Alesia Buckholts (Joey), Jonathan Bryant and Allison Dyal (George). He is also survived by 6 great grandchildren; 10 step-grandchildren; 13 step-great grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews.
