He is survived by: his wife Helen Vaughn Batten of Patterson; his children, Racheal, Kacie Batten of Waycross, Hannah and Eric Duncan of Brunswick; his grandchildren, Trevor Batten of Alma, Jadyn Taylor of Waycross and Gracie Taylor of Waycross; and his sister-in-law Geneva Batten of Dixie Union.
