He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Henry and Julia Henderson Thomas; his grandsons, Caleb Horne and James Horne; and his brothers, David Thomas, William Thomas, Buddy Thomas, John Thomas and Billy Thomas.
He is survived by: his wife Doris Johnson Thomas of Patterson; his children, Robin (Joe Stanfield), Beth (Robert Chancey), Danielle (Dale Douberly) and Danny; his daughter-in-law Delean Thomas of Patterson; his siblings, Janie Aspinwall of Blythe Island, Laura Walker, Lillian Taylor, Susie Cason (Sam) and Pete Thomas of Waycross; his siblings-in-law, Betty Roberson of Offerman and Cecil Johnson (Cheryl) of Offerman; and his close friends, Nick Koulianos, Daniel (late Betty) of Washington, Dr. Don Waters, Dwayne Chancey, Ralph, Nadean Lairsey, Isabelle Hunter, Tammy Cummings, John James and Rodney James. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren.
Due to COVID-19, there will be no visitation for Mr. Thomas at the funeral home.
