He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Gay and Clara Mathis Gay; his wife Jo Ann Howard Gay; and his brother Terrell Gay. He is survived by: his children, Alla Mae Hickox (Jim) of Hoboken and Bobby Gay, Jr. (Regina) of Patterson; his sisters, Alvieta "Veda" Kennedy of Tifton and Betty Jean of Nashville; and his grandchildren, Korey White (Nancy), Dylan Hickox, Jimmy Hickox (Maranda), Zach Hickox, Chyan Blankenship and Quinton Blankenship. He is also survived by 4 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
