He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Benjamin Franklin Ashley, Sr. and Deaconess Ruby Cannon Ashley; and his siblings, Linda Gail Ashley, Daniel Eli Ashley, Robert Benjamin Franklin "Smack" Ashley, Jr., Alfred Lee Ashley, Ruben Alexander Ashley and Rozenna Latrell Ashley.
He is survived by: his daughters, Josie Ashley of Patterson, Abiegail Moses (Isaac) of Valdosta and Monica Chandel (Juan) of Patterson; his grandchildren, Brayden Fulton, Tyson Moses, Maleek Chandel, Jayles Chandel, Layla Chandel and Camilla Chandel; and his sisters, Betty Douglass of Springfield, Janice Simpson of Jesup and Charlene Grant (Steve) of Patterson. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
