It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Annette Walker of Patterson, Georgia, born in Blackshear, Georgia, who passed away on October 17, 2023, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Mitchell and Martha Elizabeth Groover Melton; her husband David Owen Walker; her brothers, James Albert Melton (Nora), Robert Melton, Charlton Melton (Bea) and Rudolph Melton; and her siblings-in-law, Robert Sullivan, Gus Spradley and Dawn Melton.
She is survived by: her daughter Mandy Walker of Blackshear; her grandchildren, Erica Walker of Blackshear and Jade Sharpe (Karlee) of Waycross; her siblings, Marlene Sullivan of Blackshear, Mildred Moore of Blackshear, Debbie Melton of Blackshear, Linda Spradley of Patterson and Stevie Melton of Blackshear; and her sisters-in-law, Sue Jean Melton of Waycross and Martha Melton of Waycross. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
