She was predeceased by: her husband Roy Wiley Nix, Jr.. She is survived by: her sons, Roy Nix, III (David Broselli), Michael Nix, Sr. (Stephanie), Jason Nix, Sr. (Saralee) and Toby Nix (Phov); her grandchildren, Michael David Nix, Jr., Tyler Nix, Jason Nix, Jr., Matthew Nix, Daevee Nix, Ryan Nix and Aubrey Nix; and her sisters, Helen Davis (Allan) and Brenda Murray (Gary Lawhon).
