She was predeceased by: her father John Oliver; her husband Hubert Powell; and her siblings, Nelle Hudson, Evelyn Wimberley and John Fussell.
She is survived by: her son Jim; her daughter-in-law Stephanie Powell; her granddaughters, Mikayla Powell and Katelyn Powell; and her brother-in-law Louis Powell (Linda). She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family.
