She was predeceased by: her parents, Ed Plumley and Helen Jean Welch Plumley; her sister Patricia Rimes; her mother-in-law Shirley Albritton; and her nephew Johnathan Kersey.

She is survived by: her husband Sweet "Rusty" Leavins; and her children, Michelle Andrews (Mark), Nichole Dicapua and James Leavins (Daila). She is also survived by ten grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
