He is survived by: his wife Emma Grier of Parrott, GA; his children, Mary Williams (Melvin) of Parrott, Deacon Michael Grier (Shirley) of Dawson, GA, Barbara Grier of Dawson, GA, Cassandra Grier of Dawson, GA, Takeylia Grier of Dawson, GA and Malacka Garrett (Greg) of Dawson, GA; his siblings, Mary Eva Grier, Annie Lois Grier of Dawson, GA, Ola Mae Grier, Christine Beal of Albany, GA and Oscar Grier (Betty) of Albany; his sister-in-law Willie Mae Grier of Parrott, GA; and also, John Thomas (Carrie) of Dawson, GA and Jay Lynn Grier of Palmetto, FL. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 16 great-grands, and 20 step-grand and a host of nephews, cousins, and sorrowing friends.
