It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sharon Murphy of Palmetto, Georgia, born in Bowling Green, Kentucky, who passed away on February 28, 2022, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lloyd Dimmitt and Yvonne Dimmitt (Harris); her stepmother Catherine Dimmitt Carpenter; her son William Simeon Walls, Jr.; her granddaughters, Kimberly Hudson and Heather Zujkowski; and her stepson William Thomas Murphy, Jr. (Sharon).
She is survived by: her husband William Thomas Murphy, Sr.; her sister Michelle Chisenhall (Jason); her children, Barbara Hudson (Tim), Beverly Cowart (William) and Keith Walls (Tracey); her grandchildren, Bryan Hudson (Candace), Scott Hudson (Tayler), Brandi Adams (Drake), Justin Walls, Suzanne Whitaker (Mike) and Angie Crowell; her great grandchildren, Ben, Rylee Grace Hudson, Shayla Cipperly, Isaac Zujkowski, Noah Zujkowski, Jordan Oliver, Taylor Oliver, Jade Whitaker (Austin), Jacob Crowell (Julie) and Jacey Crowell; her stepchildren, Peggy Wooddall (Jack), Pam Gentry Murphy and James Daniel "Putt" Murphy; and her daughter Beth Collinsworth (Jeffery). She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and four great-great-grandchildren.
