It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leland H. Alexander Jr. of Palmetto, Georgia, who passed away on May 22, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Leland Harrell Alexander, Sr. and Pearl Reid Alexander. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Streets Alexander; his sister Sybil Franks of Carnesville, GA; his half-brother Raymond Alexander of Tuscaloosa, AL.; his daughters, Angela Sharp (Andy) of Blue Ridge, GA and Amanda Alexander of Vidalia, GA; his granddaughters, Meg and Given Sharp; and also, Russell, Helen, Kyle Franks, Arthur Alexander and Sylvia Waldo. He is also survived by cousins, in-laws and friends.
