He is survived by: his wife Nancy Jones Long; his daughter Beetina Long of Hoover, AL; his sister Barbara Bell (Charles) of Rainesville, AL; his grandchildren, Captain Hayden Long (US Army), Taylor Stone (Christopher), Campbell Long, Calynn Long and Anderson Long; and his nieces, Kim White and Brittney Newman (Stewart).
