He was predeceased by: his parents, Hugh Verlin and Fannie Jane Roberts; and his brothers, Tommy Roberts, Jim Roberts and Leroy Roberts.

He is survived by: his wife April Roberts of Palmetto, GA; his daughters, Angie Roberts-Dobbins (Greg) of Radford, VA and Amy Allen (Jeff) of Rifle, CO; his grandchildren, Zora Mae Allen, Noa Rhiann Dobbins and Camrynn Paige Dobbins; and his siblings, Jackie Roberts of Pisgah, AL., Larry Roberts of Pisgah, AL., John Roberts of Pisgah, AL., Mildred Roberts Starkey and Nancy Roberts Gant.
