He was predeceased by: his parents, Bert Lee and Ophelia Emily Cannon; his former wife Mildred Lynelle Cannon (Nell); his son Stanley Cannon; and his siblings, Earl Cannon and Glenn Cannon of Wendell Cannon.
He is survived by: his wife Juanita Graham Cannon; his children, Ann Cannon Mills (David) of Brunswick, Steve Cannon of Villa Rica, Scott Cannon (Karen) of Palmetto and Earl Cannon (Michelle) of Palmetto; his daughter-in-law Phyllis Cannon; his grandchildren, Shelia Smith (Doug), Don Cannon (Amy), Mark Cannon, Chris Cannon (Stephanie), Nathan Slaton, Ben Cannon (April), Crystal Loken (Donald), Shelby Cramer (Joseph), Gwen Cannon, Nicole Hughes, Clint Bagwell (Amanda) and Tori Slaton; his sister Charlse Hardegree; his stepdaughters, Penni Chilton and Cindy Tucker (Scott); his caregivers, Debbie E., Debbie J., Carmen B. and Bridgette T.; and also Rev. David Smith. He is also survived by 18 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchild.
