We are sad to announce that on June 1, 2023, at the age of 78, Douglas Wayne Kearns of Palmetto, Georgia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Fred Kearns and Margaret Turner Kearns; and his sister-in-law Dianne Ledbetter. He is survived by: his wife Judith Kearns; his children, Travis Kearns (Jessica) and Cameron Kearns (Rachel); his grandchildren, Kendra, Tucker, Lilly, McCullough and Gracie; his brother Fred Kearns (Suellen); and his brothers-in-law, Wayne Ledbetter and Harold Ledbetter (Elaine). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
People wishing to honor Doug's lifelong commitment to the Lord and his family can make donations to Palmetto Baptist Church, Building Fund where he served as a Sunday school teacher and Deacon for over 40 plus years.
