He was predeceased by: his parents, Bert Ruben and Dora Mae Thompson; his wife Cecile Ione Thompson; and his son Donald Odean Thompson. He is survived by: his children, Danny Boy Thompson of Lawrenceville, Gary Thompson (Kathy) of Oxford, Judy Parker of Stone Mountain, Linda Estes (Michael) of Griffin and David Thompson (Amy) of Newborn; and his siblings, Betty Cantrell of Oxford, Horace Thompson of Redan, Helen Fulcher of Covington and Marie Andrews of Pell City, Ala. He is also survived by 21 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, and several great-great grandchildren.
