It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Doris Armistead of Oxford, Georgia, who passed away on December 18, 2024, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Whitley and Lessie Whitley; her husband Charles B. Armistead; her daughter Carolyn; her son-in-law Billy Williams; and her granddaughter Timmie Deane Armistead.
She is survived by: her son Charles; her grandchildren, Eatonton, Keith, Wendy Williams of Oxford, Rhonda, Lyle Bailey of Covington, Kevin, Britney Williams of Oxford, Mitch, Liz, Lyndi Brooke, Cory, Ashleigh, Lexie Beth, Peyton, Caleb and Aidan; and her great great grandchild Poppy Doris. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other family members, and many close friends.
