He was predeceased by: his parents, Ruby Wren and Bonnie Thompson; and his brother Lynn Thompson. He is survived by: his wife Patricia "Penny" Thompson; his children, Kimberly McGill (Jim) of Johns Creek, GA, Kristen Goldberg (William) of Powell, WY and Kevin Thompson (Casey) of Oxford, GA; his sister Elsie Arnold of Loganville, GA; and his niece Cindy Rice of Snellville, GA. He is also survived by grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren.
