She was predeceased by: her husband Hugh Pinyan; her children, Grover Pinyan and Mildred Hitchcock; and her half-brother W. S. Cox. She is survived by: her grandchildren, Amanda, Gary Tant, Lisa Pinyan Poole and Kris Pinyan; her great grandchild Amber Hillegeist; and her cousin Darryl Prince. She is also survived by several other nieces, nephews, and cousins.
