With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of James A. Morgan of Orchard Hill, Georgia, born in Experiment, Georgia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 8, 2024 at the age of 85. Though James may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those James touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Reverend G. A. Morgan and Ruby Coker Morgan; and his sister Jeanette Morgan Duncan. He is survived by: his significant other Dorothy "Dot" Smallwood Morgan; his children, Robin Morgan (Melissa), Tim Morgan (Paula), Rhonda Wright (Charles) and Missy Cook (Buster); his great grandchild Colton Morgan; and his brother Robert "Bobby" Morgan (Marti). He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, 3 great, great grandchildren.
