He was predeceased by: his parents, John W. Hawkins and Ophelia Watson Hawkins; and his son Kenneth "Kenny" Wayne Hawkins. He is survived by: his wife Stene Harrison Hawkins; his daughter Teresa; his son-in-law Clay Sanders of Omega; his son Donnie; his daughters-in-law, Nancy Hawkins of Omega and Peggy Marchant Hawkins of Tifton; his grandchildren, Jason Hawkins, Michelle Wilkerson (Barry), Haley Hawkins, Dustin Hawkins, Carey Hawkins, Leah Slimp (Jason), Christi Bryant, John Cason (Aileen), Darian Sanders (Brooke) and Dustin Sanders; his great grandchildren, Rylee Bryant, Bentley Bryant, Cason Johnston, Hudson Slimp, Chasity, Neelia, Jada, Toni, Arla Cason, Tristyn Webb, Josh, Beyla Wilkerson, Ty Sanders and Pate Sanders; his sister Dorothy McDonald of Boston; and his friend LeAnne McAlpin.
