Larry Burkhead Obituary

We are sad to announce that on May 19, 2021, at the age of 78, Larry Burkhead of Omega, Georgia, born in Lumberton, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, James Monroe Burkhead and Dorothy Beatrice Wood Burkhead; his wife Bettie Jean Cantrell Burkhead; and his son Larry Burkhead, Jr.. He is survived by: his children, Gina (Wade Glover), Carmen (Dennis Salmon), Tammy Lynn (Bradley Lowder) and Everett; his daughter-in-law Sheri Collins of Rock Hill; his siblings, Brenda (Vince Vangi), Royce (John Schmucker), Carla Brunson of Livingston, TX. and Andrea Allen of Inglewood, FL.; and his close friend Phyllis Brown of Doerun. He is also survived by ten grandchildren; six great grandchildren.
