He was predeceased by: his father Juan Olvera Salazar; and his son Robert Olvera. He is survived by: his wife Maria DeJesus Hernandez Olvera of Omega; his children, Juan Gerardo Olvera of Omega and Silvia Aracely of Omega; his grandchildren, Priscila Castro, Georgina Castro Aguilar, Danielly Castro, Wincar Olvera, Crystal Olvera and Jessica Reyes; and his brothers, Jose Luis Olvera Alcala and Nieves Olvera Alcala. He is also survived by thirteen great grandchildren.
