It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Ernest Barnes of Omega, Georgia, born in Tifton, Georgia, who passed away on February 12, 2022, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Normand Vernard Barnes and Rosa Mae Gray Barnes. He is survived by: his wife Donna Jean Barnes of Omega; and his children, Steven Brian (Anne Barnes), James Anthony (Courtney Barnes), Christopher Chad Barnes (David Ray Kennedy), Karrie Elizabeth English of Norman Park and Kasey Marie Barnes of Fitzgerald. He is also survived by three brothers; two sisters; seventeen grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
